Teaching and Scholarly Interests: English
Dr Wang Xiang earned her PhD from The University of Hong Kong in 2013. Her doctoral research was focused on the formative assessment in English for Academic Purposes classes in a Hong Kong university. She has been interested in the use of formative assessment strategies to facilitate students’ learning since she pursued her Master of Education at the University of Melbourne, Australia in 2005. She has presented the findings of her research in several international conferences.

With her diligence and dedication to teaching, Dr Wang was voted by the students to receive the Award of Outstanding Teacher of the university in 2003.
Dr Wang joined HKCC in January 2014. Now she teaches English for Academic Studies.
