Dr Sylvia Ng studied sociology during her undergraduate and postgraduate studies (MPhil and PhD degrees).

 

Before joining this institution, she had been teaching sociology in various institutions for years, for instance, she was a visiting lecturer at HKCC, a visiting associate at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, a part-time lecturer at the Community College of City University, and a teaching assistant at The Chinese University of Hong Kong.

 

At this institution, Dr Ng is responsible for teaching subjects in the area of sociology and culture.
