Mr Peter Lui Wing-shing completed his undergraduate studies – a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and a certificate in Actuarial Mathematics – in 1994 at Simon Fraser University (SFU) in Vancouver, Canada, the university where he subsequently obtained his Master of Science in Statistics.

Mr Lui has rich experience in teaching statistics to a variety of audiences coming from business, engineering, medical science, and social science. Before joining HKCC, Mr Lui had held teaching posts at SFU, The University of British Columbia and Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU).

Apart from teaching, Mr Lui also has extensive working experience in statistical computing and data analysis. He has done consulting work for the Victoria Real Estate Board and BC Children’s Hospital in Canada. He was also a key member of the Statistics Research and Consultancy Center at HKBU.

Mr Lui enjoys immensely the fun of being a lecturer, and of seeing students succeed in their studies and careers.
