Teaching and Scholarly Interests: Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering & Physics
Dr Lo Ching-on received his Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Economics, and Master of Philosophy in Mathematics from The University of Hong Kong. He also obtained his PhD degree in Mathematics from The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. His research interests include complex function theory, properties of weighted composition operators and interpolation problems on complex function spaces.
Prior to joining HKCC, Dr Lo taught in The Open University of Hong Kong, City University of Hong Kong and the College of International Education of Hong Kong Baptist University. He possesses extensive experience in teaching a variety of courses including college mathematics, discrete mathematics, engineering mathematics and statistics. He was also involved in designing curricula, coordinating outcome-based teaching and learning, supervising students undertaking internships as well as mentoring first-year college students.
