Dr Gary Cheng is a Lecturer of the Division of Business and Hospitality Management. He has over 20 years of experience in providing consultancy services and executive training, specialising in strategic planning and alignment, change management, process improvement, and effective communication.
Prior to joining this institution, Dr Cheng had served in a number of sizable organisations and consulting firms, where he had gained substantial experience in formulating corporate strategy, financial management, and new business start-up operation in the Asia-Pacific region. With his research interest in leadership theories, Dr Cheng is fascinated by the opportunity of sharing his experience and unique insights into the application of management theories in the real world.
Dr Cheng holds a Doctoral Degree in Business Administration, a Master's degree in System Engineering and Management, a Master's degree in Accountancy, and a Bachelor's degree in Commercial Studies. He is also a certified member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountant (AICPA).
