Teaching and Scholarly Interests: Accounting & Finance
Mr Michael Wong received his Master of Science in Finance from City University of Hong Kong. Prior to completing his graduate work, he had held different jobs including tertiary education lecturer, audit manager, and credit controller. He is a qualified accountant and holds professional membership in the Society of Registered Financial Planners Limited, Institute of Chartered Secretaries & Administrators, Hong Kong Institute of Company Secretaries, Hong Kong Institute of CPAs, CPAs Australia, and Taxation Institute of Hong Kong. He also serves as a member of the editorial committee of the Hong Kong Association of Accounting Technicians Limited where he is mainly responsible for reviewing articles on finance and management accounting.
When not busy teaching, Mr Wong enjoys gathering with students and jogging. He believes in the power of persistence – if we can make a bit of improvement everyday, then in the long run we will end up making significant improvements.
