Ms Chin obtained her Bachelor of Commerce (Hons) and Master of Marketing from the University of Western Australia.

Prior to working in academia, Ms Chin had held senior managerial positions at multinational companies including ACNielsen and Sociedade de Jogos de Macau (SJM), where she gained extensive field experience in business management and marketing.

In terms of teaching, Ms Chin worked previously at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, teaching marketing courses such as services marketing, marketing research and marketing symposium. Her dedication to teaching is evident from her student-centred approach to academic learning and development.
